Our Youth Enrichment Program is created with the intent of providing structured After-School and Technology Programs that put strong emphasis on education and life skills to enable young people to be better prepared for the challenges and demands that life brings.
Kids who participate in these programs earn higher grades, have improved attendance, behave better in school, and are more likely to graduate while increasing accountability.
Team Members work carefully with each young person individually and collectively and is determined to make a positive life change for every young person involved in this program.
The Job Referral/Placement Program connects potential employees with employers who are seeking applicants with like of similar job skills, education and/or experience; along with tips on Dressing for Success, Resume Preparation and Job-Keeping Skills.
Housing & Shelter Family Recovery
Housing And Shelter Family Recovery Program provides room and board for referrals for families, senior citizens and the homeless population who are faced with physical, mental and substance abuse challenges; while providing a safe and wholesome environment with support groups and life skill classes.
Information & Referral/ Telephone Information & Crisis Calls Center
Information & Referral/Telephone Information & Crisis Calls Center provides referrals to over 150,000 callers each year, needing housing, utility assistance, food, child care, medical care, counseling, substance abuse treatment, jobs, legal services, transportation, education and other emergencies.
The Distribution Project
The Distribution Project provides Clothing, Blankets, Shoes, & Food Baskets for poor underprivileged individuals and families during the Annual Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve Super Feasts at the George R. Brown Convention Center. Over 800,000 pieces of clothing, shoes, food baskets, toys, hot meals and household items are distributed to more than 35,000 at the Feasts and other local community organizations.

How can your pantry qualify?
Quite simply, call our food pantry department at 866-510-CLUB (2582) for an application and the Assessment Coordinator will arrange a site visit or telephone interview.
Vans, cars, trucks, buildings and storage space are also needed and remember – your donations are tax deductible under Section 501(c)(3)
How can I start a Food Pantry in my area?
The first step is to contact the City Wide Club Pantry Coordinator in your area for a “how to” interview. You will receive a packet of information to help you start a food pantry in your home, business, church, organization or civic club. After you qualify, and are approved, you will be given an engraved plaque, a membership card that gives you access to the food distribution center allocations, and instructions on organizing food drives and fundraisers.
What type of items can be donated?
The pantry accepts canned goods, non-perishable food items, staples, usable clothing, furniture and household items. When delivered to a household, food is arranged in a basket with enough food to supplement a household for four or five days. Following are examples of food items needed:
If you are with a company, group, church, organization, or are just a concerned citizen, you can donate to the Pantry Partner Program or set up food collection points or fundraisers in your community. Each volunteer collects and turns in donations daily, monthly or quarterly.
Rent & Utility Assistance
The Rent & Utility Assistance Program helps to assist low-income individuals and families by stabilizing and providing support during extreme crisis situations. This program provides families with financial assistance for a variety of crisis situations including: eviction, utility shut-off notices, emergency prescriptions and more.
Senior Citizens Enrichment
The Senior Citizens Enrichment Program is designed to promote a healthy lifestyle and maximize quality of life based on individual needs and interests. It is our aim to provide services, activities, programs and information designed to enrich and enhance the quality of life for our seniors, and to help them enjoy independent living and social interaction.
Project Rescue
The Project Rescue Program is an emergency contingency response protocol to be implemented in the wake of a natural or man-made disaster impacting our local cities and counties.

Project Warm-Up Warm-Up Rescue Van
During cold winter months, thousands of our neighbors choose between heating their homes and feeding their children, but thanks to our Project Warm-Up Program and Warm-Up Rescue Van; we are able to help warm the homes and hearts of our neighbors in need.
Our rescue team is committed in providing emergency services and assistance to the homeless, men, women, children, and senior citizens with: Electric Heaters | Blankets | Coats | Jackets | Fresh Cups of Hot Chocolate, Coffee & Tea | Boots | Socks | Help with Utilities | Personal Hygiene Items | Plastic Trash Bags | Gift Cards and More.
Project Cool Down
Project Cool Down is most helpful when the heat rises dramatically during summer months, and people experiencing homelessness or our seniors and individuals on fixed incomes are at extreme risk of exposure associated with the rise in temperature.
Project Cool Down provides: Fans | shelter | bags of ice | Igloos | cold water | lemonade | iced tea | snow cones & ice cream | clean towels | gift cards | personal hygiene items.
NO KID WITHOUT A TOY
NO KID WITHOUT A TOY Programcollects new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distributes those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which is most helpful during the Christmas Eve Super Feast.
